Profits do matter, but a lot of cancel culture assholes can bring a network to its knees. Police to its knees. Politicians to its knees. Profit doesnt matter if theres a whiff of racism. You can lose much much more than 80 mil you spent on one show thatll fail. You gotta understand it's a vocal minority and a few months ago they didnt actually matter. Now they do. Significantly.
