So i abnodned racing games for a long time now.
The last racing games i plaeyed were like gran turismo 4 on ps2 andneed for speed underground :X

I loved gran turismo for the car collecting and even though it was on the less arcady style it was still not too hard for meh. (not to much sim?)

So is ther eanything very similiar on PC out there?
+car collecting
+easy to handle cars
+different types of game mdoes not just racing speedways

Is there any game from shift 2 to project cars that could quench my thirst?

If they had given us proper Forza 6, that'd been nice. You can always try that Apex stuff.. but it's gonna be disappointing.

Gotta emulate what you can find.

If emulation is an option... I would say: give Sega GT and Metropolitan Street Racer a go. Two titles I quite enjoyed on the Dreamcast.

God i hate that stupid emulation=piracy argument you can just buy those console games and then emulate them you know just like with every game emulated or not it's your damn choice if you want to buy or pirate it ,every emulator has the option to play isos or dumps and you can easily make them yourself (some even let you use the cd/dvd directly but it's recommended to make a iso) i have my whole ps2,dreamcast and wii /gc collection on a hdd and i dumped them all myself btw in a lot of country's it's even actually legal to download a backup if you own the original .

That is not a requirement and it never was owning the game and running it in a emulator is enough and perfectly legal.

For some emulators you also need to dump the bios of the console

But that's a entirely different matter and doesn't really have anything to do with the legality of running the games them self in an emulator also not a lot of emulators do that.

Unless the ISO magically appears on your PC, I doubt it's considered legal. Who cares though.

But for playstation you do depending on the emulator (and my choice does). I don't understand how you would be legally allowed to skip the bios dumping if it is necessary. That's why no forum just hosts the bios files and you have to track them down (easily) yourself.

Just admit you're a filthy pirate Cool Face
It's not too important for this topic and if you actually own the games, morally you are fine either way, imo, even if you didn't dump them or the bios. To expect more is just moronic -- or deplorable in case of legal action which never happens I hope.

Of course i am i never denied that Laughing

it just annoys me that emulation still has this unjustified stigma while it's perfectly legal and really necessary for the preservation of old games in the future.

Yeah that pisses me off as well. Especially when they seem to claim some moral issue. Fucking morons defending made up rights of other people.
