never heard of this and microids are not known for there greatness Sad but ill suck it and see;)

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

Microids not known for their greatness? Syberia, Syberia 2, Post Mortem? Some of the best adventure games of this decade!!!!!

Can't wait for this on the PC! Try the PC demo!

For those who don't like 'boring' point - n -click classic adventures. I advise you stay away!

this game is great ive been playing it for last 40 mins MC3 is offcially on the shelf for the time being and this is at least gonna keep me going til jade empire and prolly thru jade empire too when i need to take a break from it.

Ive got to say the open cinematic had me hooked i thought damn if the game holds up like this i'm in for a treat. So far its a solid adventure game about as solid as u could want and nice graphics to boot

thx for first impressions dvsone!

im thinking about getting this for my wife. she loves syberia and serial killers-plots, so what i wonder is if this is in the vain of syberia, or more in the vain of post mortem?

Right. It is actually a spin-off from Post Mortem. You play the lead character from Post Mortem's great-grandaughter. However it is very much in the vein of Syberia 1 + 2 and even uses the same graphics engine.

On the PC it is a point and click interface (although you can use keyboard to control directly). On the X-Box, it is direct control in the style of Monkey Island 4.

It is a FANTASTIC game IMO. Very atmospheric, great production values. But then again, I am a MASSIVE adventure fan.

If you want to get a feel for it, download the demo over at the official site. I promise you will be hooked.

PC Version should be out soon. Although if she's more an X-Box type person then I'd get it now.

Works like a charm Smile

Hi, does anyone know how to open the chest in the attic of the father's house? (chapter 1) I suppose the order of the shapes can be guessed from the necklace received from the father, but I can't figure it out.
Thanks in advance.

Corners, count the corners If I remember corectly.

I just finished it :Y, Good game some of the puzzles where too hard (IMO) but on the whole it was easier than Syberia, and thats a good thing as all the puzzles had hints or logical solutions.

EDIT

MAJOR SPOILERS!!! SO DONT HIGHLIGHT UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ENDING

-----------

The ending was a disapointment, I have a feeling I know who it was, but you dont actually see the murderer in the final cut scene (am leaving the credits rolling just incase) so its a bit disapoining

EDIt 2

Its left open for a sequal, body was never found

AL, ES, FR, IT

that saves rougly 700mb of space

the AN is the english folder, i tested it out by adding stuff to the end of each folder and only the AN folder when untouched is for english
