That's just like any other generic Western-like mecha (See Gundam for the typical Japanese mecha Razz).
Going by what you said even those in Lost Planet would be a rip off from Robocop... (Ironically, that is a japanese game)

while they had similarities this one is almost 1:1 identical, even the way it uncovers itself, in any case as long as it's SWRC clone i couldn't care less i'll still play it if it's even remotely decent, it's just lack of originality that suxx

The developers went bankrupt though there are plans to revive the project despite this, unsure how it'll end up.

how do you lay off the original crew then plan to revive the process....it won't end up the same without the original mind.

Even more, how the fuck do you go bankrupt when your indie, jesus, not like you had money to begin with, fucking finish it for gods sakes

Wow this game is a freakin zombie. No matter how many times it seems to die, it just keeps getting back up.
When it's finally released it'll probably end up like Daikatana or something.

Shocked

For a BROWSER game, that was actually pretty damned fun! Absolutely the highest quality graphics I've ever seen in a browser.

well, it uses the unity plugin
if crytek made a browser plugin you could play crysis in a window
like youtube doesn't play in a browser, it plays in a flash plugin

I know that Razz

It's like Shockwave, basically, but that doesn't diminish the quality or my point.

So, this is like "pre-order our semi-finished game pls so that we can continue to develop it -- or not".

Awesome.

http://www.moddb.com/games/interstellar-marines/news/lessons-learned-in-open-door-development

Quote:
A while back we gave a presentation with the title Lessons Learned in Open Door Development at the European Creative Business Network's 5th media conference.

The feedback after the presentation was great and people were genuinely intrigued by our open and honest talk about our struggles and experiences throughout all these years, so we decided to recreate the presentation in a 10 minute video, and share it for the greater good.

We hope that our ups and downs will inspire other like-minded people out there to never give up on their dreams.

Please enjoy!
