Long story short; I'm bulking and therefore amongst other foods I have loads of milk, protein powders and oats in my diet, which results in nuclear farts that last as long as 3 hours after chugging some whey protein with milk. I don't really care, but my coworkers as starting to triangulate the source of aforementioned vile stench coming from my general direction Crying or Very sad

Is there something like a low fat lactose free milk? I feel like my cover could be blown any day now Embarassed

kefir, use it instead of milk

Why do you drink the protein powder with milk then? They are made to be mixed with either water or milk - I always take mine with water.

Lactose free milk, or almond milk can be a substitute (altho that's not milk). Oh and oats bloat you up like crazy (since they're rich in fiber).

But if you're bulking up you basically have to eat chicken, tuna and lowfat cheese all the time. Oats are good source of fiber and carbs, but they do have the side affect Laughing

I guess because it tastes horrible with water?

Some are absolutely undrinkable with water, they don't even melt properly. I suggest Optimum Nutrition they taste fine. They will taste slightly better with milk but in all honesty none of them taste great, milk or water, so it's not really a concern for me, and especially not if I'm going to fart for the next three hours Smile

You're talking to a master. I didn't let out a loud one ine 4 years or so, it managed to become involuntary by now. It's the smell that's the problem.

ON are the only ones I drink, I just love the taste of them mixed with milk.

Why don't you just buy the protein bars ?

I do all the time.

I just got some lactase and It really did help. Managed to chug down a pint of protein drink without as much as a tremor, so yay!
