killed one by accident, bastard brute ran in group of three directly in front of my car (about 5 meters) at 100+kmh. couldnt avoid to hit the last one with the right wheel, or lets say drive directly over it. luckily since i hit it directly with the wheel the car didnt have any damage, no fucking insurance here would pay for that cause of a stupid hunting law shizzl which allows the insurance to say "your bad, its not a native animal. we dont pay for that". they only pay if its a deer or some other native animal and if you can proof by showing them expert hair of the animal which still should be on the car (if you still call it car after such accident, it would be a write-off). even a not much bigger rabbit could fuck up your car very hard in such an accident
though the sound of the crushing bones of that little fella was awful
cute lil things? those are dirty pests. they might look cute, but once you get annoyed cause they crawl through your garbage bins (lucky i dont have the problem at home, but a friend of mine. she said since a few weeks every evening a few come to her house and do shit. that might look funny when they climb out of the bins but they are annoying) its not cute anymore. still i feel sad for killing that little asshole, though there was no possibility to avoid that crash or brake fast enough. atleast it was dead instantly
im kidding, ive never seen those things in person, in DR they havent been introduced, i think someone brought some and they are breeding on an offshore island and the goverment is paraoid of people taking them to the main island as pets and the damage they would do to the eco system. they would fucking florish here to, so much trash in bags in all the streets online they look cute tho....
