RELEASE DATE - UNKNOWN

Quote:
Hot News, Almost Human Ltd has just announced Legend of Grimrock 2! Now I've played Legend of Grimrock 1 and not only was it a huge success selling over 600,000 copies in the gaming world, I thought it was bloody brilliant too. It was an epic dungeon crawler, which took many of us back to our roots of crpg goodness, battling creatures and solving puzzles in a grid based movement dungeon system. Basically the Dungeon Master of this generation, with HD graphics and lighting

Good news!
LoG was a pretty good game. I'm also surprised, that "such" a game did very well with its sales!

Wish they would make a similar game but in sci-fi setting and turn based combat.

And here is one scary bit

Game have sold over 600,000 copies but only less than 9% actually finished it. How many will actually buy the sequel ?

I'm hoping for turn based combat this time around. Only reason I never bought the other because the combat was annoying as hell.

Ya while I loved the combat of these games when I was a teen, the walk down memory path was a boring one far to quickly - that sidestep combat system has to go. If it cant be isometric do like Kotor.

I finished the GOG version and later got a Steam copy from HB. I still count in the Steam achivements for this game and there might be more people like me.

I wonder what kind of monsters they'll put in this one, maybe some evil birds and squirrels! (along with that cute Ogre in the background Laughing)

Looks nice but this time around my money will got to Ubisoft and their MMX unless LoGII will focus less on puzzles and more on combat/character development. I doubt it, though Sad
