We don't have a lot of detail on the game other than what you see in the video. The developers are in indie studio called Osome. They are targeting a 2014 release (for PC and Mac, too, it seems). And they describe their game this way: "Explore the macabre past of an old mansion and solve puzzles of light and shadows in this fully black and white survival horror."
for those that did not knew about it ... this game was a ALONE IN THE DARK remake ... before theirs studio Eden was closed, after the colossal failure of Test Drive Unlimited 2 in sales (people wanted a driving game not a MMO masked as a Driving game)... now losing the ip ... but they still had the assess , so to not loose money , they did ... the most clever thing you could DO .... REMOVE COLOUR FROM THEM , make it a black and white and redesign he main hero

Introducing This game ...
I highly doubt it was that easy:lol: , anyway played a bit of it and it's actually pretty good and very interesting a lot better then everything horror related crapcom has chummed out lately
The game is indeed pretty cool. It's rough around the edges and I'm not sure the core mechanics based on avoiding the dark by continuously lighting matches is an exceptionally good one, but it works and the atmosphere is great so far (not too scary, just creepy).
The art-style is simplistic but not cheap, the music is nice as well. The narrative bit..so-so. You actually need to be careful because if you don't manage your lighting sources properly, it's game over. Quite old-school at what it does.
@Kein: yeah, unfortunately even downsampling or playing around with the nvidia inspector didn't produce any good results, the zig zag is there to stay I fear.

nothing is easy ... still when you play it you will see some intact assets from this
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
I will play someday in future when there will be D3D support and AA.
why do you need AA and D3D support
I can still see a lot of jaggies
and not every card supports downsampling.

every card from 2009 supports it
@Kein
what now , should i play your childish word game , that you are a perfect example of a graphic whore that destroys the gaming industry ... grow up , even heard about downsampling pushing games internal into 2k or 4k and displaying the result in your native resolution ... who needs AA then ... downsample those 2715x1527 into your native and you will see no jaggies

Is that your attempt at an answer in the losing battle?
Someone pointed out you are just a casual gamer that does not know what aliasing is and who is comfortable with console-level of quality, so what? No reason keep climbing in the bottle and trying to prove something.
Or are you trying hard to in pretending to be "true PC gamer" to feel like the part of our 31337 master-race club?

Hilarius never knew you have to a elitist scum that has to enjoy graphics more then the game to be a true PC gamer

gfx aside....how's the game?
its a true survival horror game
not the shit we had now with guns and asswipes running scared
or third person/first person zombie shooters that tough low ammo = survival horror game
White Night is a true survival horror , that does not use full face cheap jump scares but uses real fear of the dark ... you can see they used the inspiration for this game from the movie "Peur(s) du noir" from 2007
they took this story
this game and DreadOut ... give me hope some devs still know what survival horror is
