We don't have a lot of detail on the game other than what you see in the video. The developers are in indie studio called Osome. They are targeting a 2014 release (for PC and Mac, too, it seems). And they describe their game this way: "Explore the macabre past of an old mansion and solve puzzles of light and shadows in this fully black and white survival horror."

REMOVE COLOUR FROM THEM , make it a black and white and redesign he main hero Laughing

Introducing This game ... Very Happy

Yeah, it seems to have a potential but good lord it is a mess with such contrast. My eyes literally hurt from that aliasing.

The game is indeed pretty cool. It's rough around the edges and I'm not sure the core mechanics based on avoiding the dark by continuously lighting matches is an exceptionally good one, but it works and the atmosphere is great so far (not too scary, just creepy).
The art-style is simplistic but not cheap, the music is nice as well. The narrative bit..so-so. You actually need to be careful because if you don't manage your lighting sources properly, it's game over. Quite old-school at what it does. Razz

@Kein: yeah, unfortunately even downsampling or playing around with the nvidia inspector didn't produce any good results, the zig zag is there to stay I fear.

Shame it won't sell. its 15bucks only but no ads at all. Nobody knows about this game.

It's a pretty neat little adventure game tho.

And here we have a perfect case of casual "couch gamer", ladies and gentleman. Please, no touching and feeding! Moving to the next slot...

I find it double funny, because every your screenshot is the case of horrible aliasing, which is especially noticeable on contrast colors.

every card from 2009 supports it

@Kein
what now , should i play your childish word game , that you are a perfect example of a graphic whore that destroys the gaming industry ... grow up , even heard about downsampling pushing games internal into 2k or 4k and displaying the result in your native resolution ... who needs AA then ... downsample those 2715x1527 into your native and you will see no jaggies

Is that your attempt at an answer in the losing battle?

Someone pointed out you are just a casual gamer that does not know what aliasing is and who is comfortable with console-level of quality, so what? No reason keep climbing in the bottle and trying to prove something.

Or are you trying hard to in pretending to be "true PC gamer" to feel like the part of our 31337 master-race club?

Because fine white lines on black background are the prime example for the usefulness of AA

the cards that don't support downsampling are so old they couldn't even use AA in modern games though.

DSR+SMAA is how I will be playing this.

Hilarius never knew you have to a elitist scum that has to enjoy graphics more then the game to be a true PC gamer

Kurosaki wrote:

its a true survival horror game
not the shit we had now with guns and asswipes running scared Laughing
or third person/first person zombie shooters that tough low ammo = survival horror game

White Night is a true survival horror , that does not use full face cheap jump scares but uses real fear of the dark ... you can see they used the inspiration for this game from the movie "Peur(s) du noir" from 2007

they took this story

this game and DreadOut ... give me hope some devs still know what survival horror is

Seems like using SMAA in this game with Reshade (OpenGL32) fuck ups gamma, image is too bright.

Oh well.
