I don't get it though. A lot of people would love to buy this game so why are they giving it away for free? Not that I'm complaining it just seems like a weird thing to do

But according to the website it is the remastered version that is free

I haven't downloaded it myself yet as it is pretty late but I will do so tomorrow

oh christ, the download is for fuckign Epic's version of Steam. Spend all this time downloading shit because the server's getting hammered and you still don't have the game and god help you trying to load the "marketplace"

It is the remastered version, I just got done playing it and the title screen says Shadow Complex Remastered.

The graphics are basic (I'm assuming the models/textures are the same as the old console versions), but it supports dx11 along with other goodies. It's playable with m&kb too, so all is well.
(I can't seem to turn off the Italian localization though which is destroying my ears) |

Fuck sorry just noticed your post, is it possible to play the game without the added malware. I already have steam and don't want more shitware on my PC.
Seriously that's a hefty price, I would pay $40 to not have spyware/adware shit using Ram when I boot my PC.

There's nothing like that in Epic's launcher, it doesn't even start on boot by default as some other programs do but it would be pretty trivial for someone to just upload the folder with the game once it's been downloaded through said launcher.
