“The Tales Of series continues to connect with RPG fans searching for a pure Japanese role-playing experience. With the high adoption rate of the current generation of consoles and continued popularity of the PC platform, we are more than excited to be able to adapt Tales of Zestiria to the PS4 and STEAM exclusively for Western fans across the Americas and Europe. Players will now be able to choose which platform they want to experience the Tales of Zestiria adventure on!”

Wow im hyped, more jrpgs on Pc are always good news especially a series as prestigious as the tales series, i sure hope they port Vesperia as well yeah it's old but still one of my favorites and it's a damn shame it was only released on shitty 360 in the west.
Unfortunately Atlus doesn't give a fuck about westerners so it will probably only be released on Ps3/4 the only (non mobile ofc) platforms that matter in Japan.
Yeah Sega owns them now but it's Sega Sammy and they don't care about westerners either
I don't quite understand the love for the *tales series. I find the combat to be lacking strategy and it's just a matter of figuring out the 'right' combos.

That's pretty much JRPG standard
Like in FFVIII, all you need was "drawing" every freaking magic in the game and figure out slotting them right on GFs. Then it was pretty much auto-attack/limit fest every fight.
Same in FFVII, slotting right materia and going auto-attack on 4x Attack ftw!
I like the dynamic combat on Tales series, altho i fully know it's only a matter of picking the right combo and them time them right like you said. It's like basic JRPG combat with a twist.
I loved the story in that "JRPG-kind-of-way" from most, if not all, tales games i played. Tales of Abyss for example had a pretty engaging story.

playing Tales game on PC natively without emulator will feel weird.
at some sense,Steam Feels like Console Emulation for me... (big Picture Mode) and I can Use my DS4 as wireless mouse pad to enter without ever using K&M Combo from the couch
I'll buy it just to show support, not sure if I'll play it since I haven't finished a Tales game since Eternia (the one they wrongly called Destiny 2) I think.
I generally don't like the character designs, and story is a bit predictable. Like with my last attempt with Xillia where the big twist was pretty obvious and well gameplay was kinda cumbersome as well.
This looks like it's releasing together with the console version though, so yay PC is back to being a number one platform.
