I want to buy this now, but with the Halloween sale basically imminent, why bother when there's a 99% chance it'll be at least 25% off in a week.
Not saying you shouldn't buy it though. The game is totally awesome!

just saw of all what this game about,it's JRPG style gameplay,not much my taste,but at least the Costumes are cool,might try someday.

There's been three updates so far (last one was yesterday.) but I've found no changes posted so far so I have no idea what they do, seems to be fairly small but could be anything.
(Aside from the weekend extras for titles like Isaac and Dungeon Defenders there's actually been a lot of patches released this and the previous week to a variety of games, nice to see such support though.)
EDIT: Went through the game files, two of the updates were for the exe and one updated the input.lua file so mostly minor (?) bugfixes it seems.
