How hard/easy are they to do?
I've not chipped a console in an age. I've chipped loads of ps1's but I'm thinking of getting a xbox and x3 chip. The soldering won't be a problem but it's the dashboards and bios's I seem to be lost on.

So as a complete noob to xbox chipping should I get one?

Later on I'll probably want to upgrade the hdd. Easy to do?

How hard is it to copy the disks too? I cba'ed to download them so I'll probably hire them to copy.

^ cba'ed ... lol

i'm a ti'tarse so i just connected my brand new virgin box (only run once to set the date and time) to the pc and changed the files on the c:\ on the xbox for the uxe/nkpatcher10 mod files .. works really well and has all the latest features like virtualc/eeprom. I didn't know what the hell that meant either till having the box for a few weeks and reading about all the advanced features at xbox-scene.. basically they are safety features and they allow xboxlive if you do some more setting up

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????
