The CODEX release isn't functioning with a controller, so here you have a fully working edition with full controller support.
If you are using plain old ACME controller, activate its Analog Mode.
In case you still encounter lags while playing without controller, set EnableController=false in [GameSettings] in steam_api.ini
Huge thanks to the cool friends who helped testing it - you rock!
Fatal Bullet is a straight up shooter with some grind mechanics featuring custom protagonist person but the original cast is still around and everyone is crazy as per JRPG personality characteristics ha ha.
Hollow Fragment is a what-if building on the idea of Kirito and co clearing the tower fully meaning you get the last 25 or so floors and then way more in the hollow area itself working as a JRPG and drawing on the game mechanics, some understanding of the show doesn't hurt but the abridged series suffices really. (They're all crazy, there. )
And Hollow Realization is using the newer non-handheld console platform hardware to flesh out and build up on the mechanics for Fragment so it's pretty similar really.
There's a another game too but it wasn't ported to PC so it's handheld only so Hollow Realization is probably the best having improved on the mechanics over Hollow Fragment while being more accessible and straightforward.
And then Fatal Bullet goes it's own way as a shoot-em-up but it feels like it was done on far less of a budget and the game experience suffers a bit as a result.
