Quote:
Seven is a Thief-inspired, 3D isometric RPG, in which you take on a role of a lone traveller. You’re going to explore a nonlinear, sandbox world.

Classic isometric gameplay is going to be redefined with parkour climbing system that gives you the ability of free-traversing obstacles on any height horizontally and vertically.

Quest line set in a 'beyond post-apocalyptic' environment is created by minds behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. You can expect branching choices with moral consequences. More to come soon.

This isn't from CDPR, it's from devs that used to work AT CDPR who worked ON Witcher 3, but have now left to form their own studio.

So a lot has changed then since my last visit to the CDPR homepage (about 4 months ago).
Looking forward to that game.

My expectations are very low for this one.
I fail to see how parkour can be implented in an isometric game. It was pretty crappy in Victor Vran IMO.

*interest intensifies*
I like everything about this (on paper). Very Happy I honestly have no idea how they'll make it happen because it sounds extremely ambitious, but I want to believe.

The fact that the head of the studio is Jakub Rokosz (senior quest designer for TW3 & 2's quests) gives me some hope at least^^

So it is ELEX but with parkour and isometric view from someone calling themselves "witcher devs"?

"Ex-Witcher developers" is now new "ex-stalker developers", wheer every janitor and coffee servant is now "old good developer" or something? How long until shady KS campaign? >_>

My first impression: The camera angle does not fit the game at all and it will give me a headache.

I like sneaking games in isometric view, The Commandos games for example were great. This seems a bit more simplistic though. Parkour on the whole in isometric view is an idiotic idea though, while sneaking is not.

yeah, it looks appealing as the camera reminds me off The Commandos games. Would love to play a refreshed version of those games. This might end up being good Smile

Damn it, I hate cel-shaded, looks so cheap.

Gameplay-wise, this looks ok? Doesn't seem like it could have enough depth nor polish to make it fun.

I really don't like the look of this game. It just seems like a clusterfuck in that perspective, being the type of game it is. I also think it looks very... bland I guess.

Yeah it looks very bland and boring they really need to work on their art-style.
Gameplay and setting seems interesting enough though.

They have to advertise with ex witcher 3 devs the whole time because no one would care much about this otherwise. Says enough.

I think they do this for different reason than game being bad or uninteresting. I suspect because many people automatically ignore games if they don't know it by already estabilished name/IP or made by companies whose games people liked. I think It's similar with other new IPs too...For example upcoming Battleborn ("from the developers of Borderlands"). I prefer they do this than not making any brand new games.
