Was wondering that no thread was created for this one.
Was searching for some trailers, but I've found that they have some -minor- spoilers. Weird.
The series is the filmed version of a Manga serie in Japan, so it's Japanese from top to bottom which in this case is a good thing.
The main character has some "regression" ability that allows him to change things in the past. No spoiler in here, because its a first premise of the show.
What could be a spoiler for the ones that are searching for a plausible time traveling is here:
Spoiler:
There is no plausible nor explained regression or time travel ability in the whole show. Is a premise that it is so, because it is so and no further explanation is present. And, this actually works here, because its so well done, that the regression ability is only secondary and no explanation is required because no explanation is perhaps, needed.
(Minor spoiler).
Its more fantastic than Scfi show.
12 epidosed with an 30 min length or so every one.
Beautiful photography and a very well treated product, in where the characters act vey well, even the children.
After two eps I must say I am very interested to watch the rest. The little girl and the little boy are doing a great job. The only thing that really bothers me, apart from the usual Japanese overacting, is the narrative voice explaining everything. Is this common in Japanese shows? I feel like I'm being treated like an idiot. The half-wit girl in the first ep was also weird.
Great to see Netflix investing in shows like these.
It was nice, but I expected much more from it after wtching the first four eps. It turned out to be pretty simplistic and childish at times. The extremely predictable twist, i.e. the identity of the murderer, didn't help my enjoyment either.
