Oh I totally loved it. Some side teenagers stories were not interesting and filler but all the agent screentime was fantastic

One of the most amazing TV-series ever. Tried to watch it again some months ago, but I find it hard to watch because of the nostalgia of that time period in my life when it aired on TV, i just get sooooo sentimental Very Happy , especially when hearing that intro music heh

Trailer for The Missing Pieces: the 1 hour and 30 minutes (the length of a whole movie!) of deleted scenes from TP: FWWM - that have never been seen before.

Quote:
David Lynch and Mark Frost's groundbreaking cult phenomenon, TWIN PEAKS -- THE ENTIRE MYSTERY, arrives on Blu-ray July 29th with the debut of nearly 90 minutes of deleted/alternate scenes from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The long-awaited missing pieces from the original version of the film is often referred to as the "holy grail" of Twin Peaks fandom, and can only be found as part of this collection.

Presented as a feature-length experience, "The Missing Pieces" has been directed and edited by Lynch exclusively for this release. Capping off more than 30 deleted/alternate scenes is an epilogue providing a fascinating glimpse beyond the cliffhanger finale of the TV series.

Oh fuck! I'm literally about to fire up the first episode in a few minutes and this thread comes up. I can't wait till July for the Blu-Ray, so picked up the WEB-DL of the first season.

Quick question for those who have played the game Deadly Premonition and watched this show; How similar are the storylines of the game and this show? Is it just the murder part or no relation at all?

Haha, same here. I was planning on watching it soon for the first time, but now I'll definitely wait for this definitive edition. I've waited all this time, I can wait a couple of months Razz

Season 1 is still very much watchable.
Season 2... a lot less Very Happy The first and especially the final episodes are more enough to get the picture.

Done with the first season and I loved it. After playing Deadly Premonition, I feel right at home with this show. The quirky bunch of characters, Angelo Badalamenti's soundtrack, the whole atmosphere of Twin Peaks, murder plot etc kept me engaged. Looking forward to season 2 now.

Just finished both the seasons and even though the ending was completely inane, I still love the whole show. Sherilyn Fenn, you're a fuckin' godess!

Is 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me' worth a watch?

Sure, although be aware you might not like it, or even hate it, as it is quite a bit different compared to the TV series. Far more darker, serious, cryptic, etc, it almost feels like a different property.

Part of the reason is the majority of comedic elements and characters have been cut for length reasons which is the reason TP fans are exstatic the blu-ray will include 90 minutes of those scenes, for the first time ever.

edit: anyway, point is, yes, absolutely watch it and decide on your own whether you like it.

I think it's a must watch if you want to understand the story and the character of Killer Bob more.
And for David Bowie's cameo. Very Happy

But not for Sherilyn as she isn't in it Sad

I will indeed. Seeing as how I can't seem to get the show out of my head, I'm tempted to try it right now. I'm not sure how to express this, but it has sort of created a void, which like every good show, is hard to fill in for a good amount of time. Sad
