In Party Hard, you play as someone who is really tired of the neighbors having loud parties. Instead of calling the police, you decide it’s a better idea to kill everyone – using your faithful knife and the environment.
The Gameplay
Party Hard will have semi-procedural environments and focus on unique ways of killing people. In the greatest traditions of sneaking games, your main goal is not to get caught, while silently picking off unsuspecting victims one by one. Dancing and blending in during a suspicious situation is key.
The prototype of this game was created during the latest Global Game Jam and became a viral success with tons of Lets Plays from Youtubers. TinyBuild backed up the original developers – Pinokl Games – to create a full version that’s coming to Steam and Mobile in 2015
Prototype game-jam DEMOhttp://www.kongregate.com/games/makerart/party-hard ( It serves as a basic demo of what will become the final game. Expect similar core gameplay with loads of variation in room types, scripted events, and AI behaviors. This version was made in Flash during a weekend. The final version is being made in Unity over the course of several months.)

- gang behavior, people will gang up on you if you're aggressive in a crowd
- firemen will come in case of fire
- an ambulance will come to collect dead bodies
- in case of gang violence, explosions, robberies, or other extreme chaos -- a SWAT team will come and sort things out
- agents will secure the area, soldiers will knock anyone out who is in their way
- in case of drugs, DEA will come and attempt to arrest everyone in sight
- there are occasional shady dealers whom you can buy things from
- levels are now semi-procedural, they will have random events happen, slightly different layouts
- AI treats you the same way as other AI characters
- more interesting AI behaviors - going for a smoke, joining the dance floor in case of gogo dancers, etc
Love the music. Surprisingly addicting. Best impulse purchase yet.
You weren't kidding, the music is so good
The gameplay ain't shabby either, simplistic in its Hitman-y gotta kill 'em all way, but has charm even if can become repetitive after a while.
Love when the policeman chases you for a while and after some dodging he just says fuck it, I'm too old for this
And if you escape through the window, you gotta deal with Mario himself!
Played this a bit too now.
It's pretty fun if played as a casual game. Meaning, that when playing it for long at once it indeed might get boring and repetive.

Hi everyone
We are getting a ton of questions about updates, DLC, etc. I want to spend some time addressing these questions.
Upcoming updates
Alongside fixes, we will have significant content updates in the form of brand new events. Expect silliness like the UFO Party in the gif above, and other surprises.
I will be revealing them on our twitter soon. ETA is Monday.
DLC? Screw DLC!
No, we are not going to do paid DLC right now. I don't like it when you go to a Steam store page and there are tons of these little upgrades you can do, it's confusing. If you want to give us more money, we might do a special Deluxe version or something like that, but we won't charge you for DLC.
You can help us instead by telling your friends about Party Hard.
PAX Prime
We are showcasing Party Hard at PAX Prime this weekend, and the first day's reception has been phenomenal. The game has great spectator sport appeal, with the crowd vouching for it. If you're at PAX and think about buying it - stop by our booth on the 6th floor!
The twitch voting thingy is ingenious. I wonder if we will see a new genre, "stream" games. Meaning, games that have integrated system for an audience to participate.
Either by voting, or making little changes to the game, or take control of a weak monster.
Anyway I don't know why some popular streamers find it so difficult, I got past the first 3 maps in an hour. It's easy to avoid the copper as long as you position yourself to the furthermost point from him when he arrives.
