I feel kind of lukewarm for this movie. It's a hit or miss when sequels arrive ~30+ years later with the same aging actor in the same role. We'll see. I hope I get pleasantly surprised.
Same. While it just the trailers is all we have to judge from. I hope it's more than a milk toast remake that is heavily depending on rehashing iconic scenes from the first to keep the ship afloat.
The trailer to me seems to imply that. Hope I am wrong and it's not just: Remember this memorable Beetlejuice scene event? We did it again to keep peoples 'memberberries distracting you from how flat the rest of it is.

There's a Telesync ac3 2.0 x264 copy (4.01gb in size) that's appeared on the Plex that I have, and it really is very watchable.
Very clear visual (direct video rip, not a cameraman job) and the audio is very good.
Also, Tim Burton has said himself that the digital is out in October.
Went to the cinema watching it with my 9 year old. We thought it was excellent. The cinema was packed and half were clapping at the end which I've never seen before .
