no worries PF is awesome =].

I'm looking forward to this game. Demo left a "meh" type of impression but maybe things pick up once you play through all the ages. I hope they fixed the unit response when it comes to positioning them. That was annoying as hell in the demo and would kill a perfect strategy.

blaah..tested and it was "OK"..nothing special really..nothing that I haven't seen before...what can I say - it's a RTS game...you build, you fight, search new techs etc. etc. .little bit more "3D" than the 1st 1...but not so bad..wont play it again tho 1h was enough..

//"how is this one compared to Great Battles Of WWII Stalingrad-RELOADED" - as that is based on Blitzkrieg engine and is more like just next Blitzkrieg addon than new game....they are totally different type of games as that WWII game you dont build s*it..you just fight...

///now I remember - this game is like Settlers:Heritage of Kings..just no magic tricks....so I liked Settlers better...

microbi are you on dope? nothing special? play it first, then comment Very Happy
citizen manager, war planner <--(that the ai follows!!), weather and at last a non-cheating AI that doesnt magically know shit its not supposed to or doesnt get any kinda resource bonuses or anything!
Personally i didnt like Empire Earth 1 so much, tought it was kinda booring, NOTHING to do in the early ages but collect resources, Empires: Dawn Of The Modern World on the other hand was amazing, lets hope this is more like the later.

I did play it and yes I saw that war planner..just no intress to learn/use it Very Happy (maybe with that I can get rid of those stupid voicies "ready to slaughter" as I clicked my soldiers to go somewhere) And still I won Very Happy And yes weather..so it did rain so...? So if the trick is that war planner it aint much.... And that citizen manager...maybe I was on dope? (it was late...so I felt like that) but what about that? I saw my resourcies, game objects, world map....?

I'll give it a second try..damn do I have to play the tut!? Oh..always hated those:D But maybe it woll "open my eyes" and this make this game better.. Not expecting too much...

GOOD thing was that my comp is "about" min specs and it ran smoot, no lag etc. + the exe is no-cd.

um...it's a sequel..it's supposed to be like the first one.
if it wasnt it wouldn't be a sequel but a new game.
sequel's try to improve on the prequels, and EE2 definitely improved a lot.
but it's still EE, just what it should be.

im LOVING this game.. im sick of all the bs RTS's coming out latley.. BUT>>>

This is the classic awsome kind

- Build a base
- Build villages
- Build walls
- Build massive armys. (Unit limit is like 5000 i think)

AND HAVE FUN

The campaign seems not my thing.. but im loving these epic skirmish games..

My god, will someone PLEASE kill Rick Goodman?
The bastard was the game designer for:
Age of Empires
Empire Earth 1 and 2
Empire: Dawn of the Modern World

Not only all these games have Empire in the name, they also play like AoE. God forbid, maybe next year he'll make Empires of the World or perhaps War of the Empires or something.

The graphics aren't that good, and Act of War actually runs faster than EE2.

I only played through the first tutorial because the mousepointer is sooooo slow. Everything else runs at normal speed. I hope they fix this issue because from what I've seen, this sequel looks like a big improvement over Empire Earth.

Edit: Disabling Vertical Sync helped a bit, so now it's playable. Very Happy
