Developer Xaviant, creators of Lichdom: Battlemage, are working on a new game called The Culling.
This is a game where up to sixteen players will find themselves on a remote island battling against each other for survival. All the typical survival elements are included such as scavenging items, crafting weapons, and trap building to take down down the other players.
The Culling will be coming to Steam Early Access on 8 March.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Sooo...you buy the game for 6 bucks...then you get one match per day for free...and you have to pay if you want to play more...or another free game if you win. Or pay a subsciption
for unlimited play.
Do these guys want people to play the game or not? I'm confused.
Doubt that this game will have any traction.
To the guy who came up with that payment model: congratz you just played yourself.
Thry were struggling to keep players interested in their previous game.
They should be happy if they get back the money they invested in if lol.
Late to the party and greedy=no business sense
The one-game limit has been bumped up to ten, and director of operations Josh Van Veld says he's embarrassed that the relaunch was unveiled with those settings.
