Can someone give me directions to were to look for applications that I need to have so I can walk in games using kinect. And what others stuff can I do with it then I have the kinect as well?
Posted on the oculus forum but no response. Bought a kinect as I had a gift card to use, bad buy?

Er... yeah, sounds like a terrible buy for me.
Shouldn't you have done the research before buying it? I've never heard of using it to walk in games

you can't even do anything with it on a xbox because there are no games at all for it. a friend has it and he still wishes he would have never bought the bundle which includes a kinect.
bringt it back fast and get your money back

Didn't MS lock the v2 Kinect down to try and fuck people over, stop them using 3rd party drivers for mocap and such? Probably the best use for it is wedging open a door or something.

Well... that was pretty stupid. Send it back/return it (you have the right). Get something else.
And please for the sake of humankind: do some minimum research before you buy stuff. Evolution gave us big brains... use it.
