as i said in the other thread, i dont see a problem. sony wants money for extended "demos" like the gran turismo prologue stuff always. as long as ms releases horizon 3 on both plattforms im fine with that. and when the nda is down (which will happen in a few hours) we will know more

A Windows 10 user I gather? Kind of bullshit for the 85% of Windows users running something other than 10.

I was always curious about Forza but a gimped version, even for free, and above all tied to their shit (from what I've read so far, maybe this one will have proper multi gpu, fullscreen, and will allow 3rd party app support) platform?
Guess I'll have to survive without it

sure, why should i not use the latest and fastest os available? and you are wrong

marketshare as of start of february:

8 = 2,68%
8.1 = 10,4%
xp = 11,42%
10 = 11,85%
7 = 52,47%

rest some mac and linux. and those numbers mean nothing, related to gaming maybe 20% of the win 7 users, but they will change soon due to dx12. no problem at all

Not sure how I am wrong given that your data just repeats exactly what I stated, albeit even less in 10's favour - that 86.65% of Windows users use something other than 10.

And no, I seriously doubt there will be some sudden, massive upswing in the uptake of 10. Anyone that was willing to use it has already adopted it. Most new users will be buyers of pre-installed copies on new hardware, especially come July and the end of the free upgrade offer. Gating DX12 behind Win 10 will be about as successful as gating DX10 behind Vista was.

systems still running on 8(.1) are laptop etc from people who dont know shit (and therefore 1% of them might use their system for gaming). xp doenst count either, just some third world countries and single machines in companies running old software. and still the biggest amount of w7 are companies too, the amount of homeusers denying to upgrade to 10 is small (cause they are ignorant or too lazy to setup their system properly). would say about ~10% will go away from 7 till end of july

The embargo has lifted on the event and it's been confirmed that Forza is coming to PC. Forza Motorsport 6: Apex will feature 12 themed events and 60 cars, and is not - in the words of Microsoft - a 'microtransaction-driven game'. IGN has more details, and also reports that all future Forza Motorsport games will be developed concurrently for PC and Xbox platforms.

60 cars is fine, ok original includes dunno about 400? but i do not need to drive a toyata yaris (sorry ixi Razz) or any other chinese toilettcar for example in such a game. 60 cars, if choosen wisely is more than enough.

and as i said before: future forzas coming pc Smile

I see that Microsoft's political campaign is reaching Trump-like levels of aggression Razz Laughing

This is a questionable decision to say the least, an incomplete game experience instead of the proper one like some kind of perverted carrot and stick method. As a fan of vroom vroomsies I'm interested of course, but such way is definitely no bueno to me

Now that would be good..

... if only their system/App-like modus operandi wasn't so close-minded and limited. Crying or Very sad
No customer-friendliness, no modding, no power to the user. I don't like anything about it (at the moment), obviously my opinion will change if the problems will be solved, but seeing the past I'm not exactly too hopeful. Phil you're free to surprise me!

If only IGN hadn't have reported it. I swear IGN just make things up as the go along.

And I can't wait for Forza IAP in this wonderful new world of W10.

It's all part of trying to lock people into their new ecosystem. They are desperately trying to avoid a repeat of the XP situation (which still has almost as much market share as 10, lol).

if it had basic features I wouldn't mind it. but seriously, download progress bar not working, game folders locked preventing reshade usage... it's even worse than gfwl.

No wheel support? I'll pass.

Hopefully we get horizon too. I'd play that even if I had to use a gamepad Mr. Green

So your wheel wasn't properly configured, both games fully support the official and Fanatec steering wheels.
