A lot of religious themes in chinese room games, huh.
I didnt like Dear Esther, I found it horribly boring and the story uninteresting even though I'm usually a very, very slow and patient gamer.
The only good part about it was the Caves. This one sounds better.
What about Frictional Games? In the article there it says TCR is making the Amnesia sequel, what about Frictional?
Without the original developers I doubt it will be that good and TCR have yet to really prove themselves in my book.
The game will allow you to play across a large terrain that’ll take approximately 20 minutes to travel through diagonally.
It’ll allow you to play for 60 minutes, and whatever you don’t manage to discover during that period of time can be found in subsequent playthroughs.
I bet some people will complain about needing more time or will try to find some cheats to disable the time limit
Well... Good luck to them. I hope it has regenerating health and at least one dog soldier in it.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Meaning it's up to how much Sony pays. I don't believe they will pay for more than 6-12 months of exclusivity.

Let's see how much they will sale on consoles compared to 750K of Dear Esther on PC.
For comparison let us look at the fastest selling game on PSN - Journey (also one of highly scored by critics):

Dear Esther fans were very much in our thoughts, but enough of us are multi-platform gamers to make this work for us,” explained Pinchbeck. “And we’re in this for the long game, so I can’t see us not returning to PC, or doing whatever we can to keep that fan base as we owe them a great deal

Judging how a PS4 indie game is going to sell based on how PS3 indie games sold, is a bit like judging the profitability of the PC platform based on how games were selling during 2005-2007 (hint: they didn't).

I know. I even wrote that's for rant purpose. But I don't really see the "great market" for indies on consoles. A lot of indie games who had their premiere on consoles sold better on PC.
This new direction from console manufacturers is just a gimmick, they saw how well indie fares on PC and wanted it too.

The console indie market will grow. It's like how it always happens the PC introduces something or it makes it a hit and a generation or more later the consoles start doing it as well. See FPS games which were considered "PC games" and now they are the best selling genre on consoles. Or online that was always a big thing on PC and this generation that the consoles finally introduced it properly as well it exploded in popularity.
The important thing for thechineseroom is that they get funding and they have to worry about sales later.

Still waiting for the strategy games to flourish on consoles
Indie games market might grow but I predict it will mostly consist of platformers. And I'm speaking about sales only here because high scores in reviews =/= sales.
As for FPS and shooters I think they hit the spot with it. Found the perfect target group but first they had to hurt the genre with regenerating health, cover mechanics and streamlined level design.
