Haha, this cant be it? It's extremley ugly, maybe the ugliest console in modern times.
And the size on this thing? It looks even bigger than the xbox and the xbox is HUGE.

Judging by the console in comparison to it's dvdrom drive, it definetely looks a lot smaller than the original xbox to me. And if you look at the pic of it thats taken at an angle to show the side of it, its definetely a lot narrower than it is long and nowhere near the size of the xbox.
Oh and BTW...i think it looks pretty cool aswell.

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

I doubt thats it. But if it is, I'd say they rushed the XBox 360. All we need to know now is some official specs. If it tanks, all the XBox fanboys on here well either jump PS3, Nintendo Rev, or defend the XBox until they die

Yea. PCs and consoles dont mix. But thats where consoles are heading sadly. They want to take whatever they can from PCs to be stronger. Nintendo atleast didnt have to go that way as they didnt need hds or all that fancy cpu crap. Not much you can do now. I doubt Microsoft will see this and change their console. If anything, I think XBox 360 will just be an upgraded XBox with all new PC parts, hd, and its own exclusive graphics card, along with some new entertainment features. Will it sell? Yes, because people will still wanna do more things with their new XBox and will be looking forward to its exclusive games.
I seriouslly hope PS3 doesnt make the same mistake.  That would suck.
I guess we can atleast count on Nintendo for something good.

It's all about what u like my friends, let's just wait till the actual unveiling of it, no need to get worked up. lol. It's not in my budget to own two systems so i will go with the second xbox.

Well atleast we wont hear this systems graphics is better than that ones this time around. Hopefully their around the same. That way the games for the systems will speak for themselves.
Man, I hope none of this is true. I know the look is one thing (looks like crap), but if its any indication that this will play terrible, or just an updated pc, its gonna be a flop like last years.
Than again, this is Spong site your talking about. Atleast the other picture you got about the XBox has nothing to do at all with Spong. I just hope Microsoft knows what their doing or they can end up like Sega did.
Same can be said for Sony except they got a huge library of games. But if it looks dated or rushed, thats gonna suck. Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions. I just honestly feel the newer generation consoles now are going to be crap.

Huge library of games? you obviously aint heard about all the devs ms has made exclusive. they have thought well ahead and signed up some big names and with sony's GTA contract running out this year and no certainty on an extension i'd say the xbox 360 has a much better library.

i cannot wait, xbox360 looks good too me, i'll buy them all anyway as each has its own benifits, to be fair don't care what it/they look like
deffo don't see Microsoft going the sega route though, lol - but would be interesting to see how Sony would fair if their new console didn't come 1st this time round, the competition is now so much stronger now Microsoft has established themselves in the console market

Well see what happens. Its just to be expected that Sony has the huge line of devs from asia to. Like I said before, they have a huge RPG front there. Just tons of devs. I really dont see why they would be dropped.
Who knows. Just after what I'm seeing and hearing lately from both sides, I have a bad feeling.
The thing that happened with Sega was they lost all that profit. Now if M$ lost all that profit, they'd still have alot of money. Well, because games arent the only thing they produce. Same goes with Sony. It would just be a complete loss if they continued to produce and sell something that isnt selling. It could happen to Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo. Since noone here is psychic, think about that. Maybe it will happen. Maybe it wont happen. I'm just not buying into what everyone here says. There are alot of XBox fanboys here and there are some PS2 ones to. Just saying one system is going to own the other is stupid.
As for the Sega part. The Sega fanboys said that and look what happened to Sega? Their lowered to just a developer team. I really wouldnt laugh. I'm not saying to take what I'm saying seriouslly, but it could happen.
I'm more worried about Nintendo than any other company right now. If they dont pick up with the next generation console, they could seriouslly fall out. Their profit comes from their GBA and Nintendo DS. Thats why they decided to have 2 handhelds at the same time. Notice the GBA isnt slowly phasing out now either. But hey, you cant deny that Nintendo has the biggest fanbase of them all. They've been around alot longer than XBox and Playstation.

Well, your making it sound like as if GTA made the PS2. I'm sure if they dont continue the GTA series, the PS3 will live. A system doesnt entirely depend on one game. I'd be wrong if I said Bungie and Bioware games made XBox. Also, all sony would have to do is sign the GTA series back up again if they wanted to. Than that stuff would get boring. I dunno about you, but I hate constant sequels year after year. I believe that if both companys have the same graphics for both its consoles, it would go down to personal preferance between the games for each system. Than you got the whole who sold the most (won the console war) factor. You'd think with all the horrible comments XBox fanboys said about Sony this year, that they would of won the war for this generation. Just terrible.
Well, I'm going to wait until all 3 consoles are on the table, specs and all. Truth is. None of you people exactly know what all 3 console specs will have. Yea, we may know specific parts, but thats about it. And until theres an announcement with launch titles for all three consoles, I wouldnt go saying which console is better.

yea sony is taking too much time releasing the ps3, thats dangerous,
i ll for sure get the ps3 cuz of mgs4 alone but if it gets released that late i ll maybe also get an xbox 360, i m hungry for the next gen.

i mentioned GTA because that's 1 of few BIG names the ps2 has exclusive rights to. Also GTA3 kinda did make the ps2 because the sales of GTA3 + the PS2 sky rocketed once every1 saw what it was like. i think it may still be the most owned ps2 game i'm not sure.
