(From a reddit post of mine people didn't tooked much time to read..)

I'm an owner of the Logitech G510 (the first version, not the one with a blue tone with coloured WASD keys) and i am happy with it, been serving me for many years.

However, i was thinking of changing it to something better. I've heard mechanical Keyboards are better yet might have some noise annoyance.

I've recently found out about this G810 and been looking a few vids on youtube but i couldn't find one that shows the typing sound/noise without the reviewer TALKING all the time or focusing on that, nor a G510 Vs G810 comparison vid.

I wanted to ask a few things related to the G810 comparing it to the G510. Note that i'm totally new in the world of Mechanical Keyboards:

-Are the keys' look exactly or similar to the G510?. With the contourn of such "round and soft"?.

-Is the noise louder or lighter?. I don't press the keyboard that hard except when a bit intense into HotS or FPS games (a la "C'MON, MOVE!!!"). Would also like to know if the pressing is easier or maybe i have to dig in deeper to make the typing get inputted into the screen.

-Are the lights bigger or brighter?. I've noticed that the keys have bigger letters instead of a thin look like the G510, that's why i am asking if it might be clearer to find out at night, for example.

-Back then, before owning this LCD'd keyboard (G510), Windows 7 loaded pretty fine, but once i bought the G510, the system load takes a total of 30 seconds from Power press to W7 desktop (even with a Samsung EVO 850 500GB), probably due to the keyboard's lights and LCD loading. Those who owns an SSD and such G810, how much time do you have to wait from pressing the power button (no sleep mode nor hibernation!!) until you hear the "do deee do deee shiiiiiiiiiiinnnnn" song from W7 getting into the Desktop?. This is how mine loads (A bit old vid though with different motherboard etc)

The one thing that concerns me a bit is the lack of a LCD Screen to show off the time, as i use it to check e-mails with the Howard app for Windows 7 (I've collaborated with their team to make an app that applies into the LCD, showing the e-mail count and it changes every few seconds to show off the titles of the 1st 3 mails). This app is useful to get notified, since the death of MSN Messenger made it impossible to know if you got an e-mail coming or not.

You might ask what i have actually as for hardware:

-ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
-Intel i7 6700K (Not OC'd)
-16GB DDR4 2133mhz
-Windows 7 64bits Home Premium
-SSD SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB (OS + Games) + 840 EVO 250GB (Backup, incase of format (Faster transfers to main SSD) + HDD (Recordings)
-GTX 970 4GB G1 GAMING EDITION (GIGABYTE)
-Logitech G502 Mouse + G510 Keyboard
-BenQ XL2410T or something (120hz monitor. PC set to 120hz)

Besides of gaming a lot, i am also the typing kind of guy. Though i've touched some mechanical keys with different touches to each (something about green, blue, red...) but some were clacky and other noiseless but the feeling of pressing the keys with was rare... Also i've barely touched more because there were clients at the shop waiting behind me =w=;;;.

Sadly such shop (Ones from Spain) has the G810 but i think they can't open an unit if it's the only unit in the shop, so it's a hard to know an opinion (also don't wanna try and be forced to buy the unit or something ==;;; ). I've tried searching at other shops but no luck.

Is there any G810 owner that could help me out there with deciding if it's worth getting it or wait for any other option?.

Thank you in advance!

yep they aren't misterbear but cherry switches aren't without their own issues for years now and cherry refuses to fix known problems (cough switches getting messy in humid weather cough)
