For reasons I won't go into I am off work for a bit (a month, possibly longer) and I am looking for games to fill my time. If I list what I have played and liked/disliked, would you lads be kind enough to suggest similar games?

In no particular order:

Grim Dawn, got rather bored of this rather quickly, did finish it though

Van Helsing Final Cut, love this game, the atmosphere, the setting, the style etc. Finished it though Crying or Very sad

Pillars of Eternity, had another stab at this. Takes a lot of work to really play it as it should be played.

Dark Souls III, not sure what you lads can see that I can't but dislike this intensely, and it's not because it's hard. Laughing

Torchlight II,Diablo III, Hard West, Cities Skylines, Villagers, Sword Coast legends, Anno games (except the most recent of course) Enjoyed these mostly, except for Sword Coast which is erm.. Terrible.

This is not all I have tried over the last few weeks, but perhaps it will give you an idea of what I like?

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have actually tried most if not all of the above (not just over the last few weeks)

Really wanted to like Victor Vran even bought it, tried the 'demo' first and gave the key to my son, did not like it much.

I own Divinity, Kings and a lot of the others that have been suggested.

Please keep them coming.

Thanks again

@Reg67
As it seems you already played most of the newer games, i would recommend taking a look at GOG.com.

For example here is a user list with mostly RPG games:
