I also got the PGR2 bosster packs (there are two), but I don´t get any new tracks....well i do, but they´re "fake" open citys...like, go outside the road and fall through it :/

hey fallchild,
how do you install this pack, do you burn this to cd/dvd or do you ftp it to your xbox, i downloaded this before and could not get it to work, any help would be greatly appreciated, step by step instruction's would be great.

Unpack -> FTP the extracted folder into your \Games\PGR2 dir.
So you have to have the game on your hd.

No read the NFO. It states this is an installer for the DLC. In other words it installs it just as live does so you can use it on live. This isn't the chopped up version that REG released a while back that sits in your game folder. This REALLY installs it so you can use it on live or from a retail disk. Exceprt from NFO:

Name: PGR2_PRPR_DLC-AWSK.part*
This installer will install the Paris and Long Beach Booster Packs for Project Gotham Racing 2
to your xbox console. After installed, you may use with PGR2 either on live or
single player. Enjoy!
The Auto Update MUST BE INSTALLED before you install any actual DLC.
Install Instructions:
1. Either get all the updates by logging into XBOX Live with PGR2 or run the installer
on your xbox and select the Update. After it says you have copied the update to the console
you will need to move it to it's proper DIR to make PGR2 see it.
The installer places the update within /e/TDATA/4d53004b/$C/4947002400UPDATE/*.*
Move all the files to the /e/TDATA/4d53004b/$u/ DIR for the update to function properly.
2. After you have insured you have the Auto Update installed. Choose to install Both Of The Booster Packs.
3. Reboot and Enjoy on Live.

This only works with a modded XBox, right?
If so, that sucks since mine was banned from Live when Halo 2 came out.

Well, you need to be able to run some unsigned code to execute the app. If you were to use a gamesave exploit to gain ftp access and then run the installer you could then stay unmodded and remove the gamesave exploit when finished.

hmmm 2 quick ones:
1.) is there a way to play against ai drivers on new maps?
2.) isnt there supposed to be an in-car-view with one of the bonus packs?

the "REG" release is a chopped up POS release..
AWSK releases are 100% identical to the downloadable content.. and are installed the same way.. the PGR2 pack wont work on PAL box's unless you get the auto update your self from live and then use the AWSK to install the bonus packs
