Glad someone else noticed this was the only part "not cg" about this trailer.
It's remedy. The game will be surely gold. They never fail

ummm.... wasn't max payne good? wasn't alan wake good?
Only burnage is from their ios game and even that is fun
You're forgiven since you're not a PC gamer () but no, they burned us last time with the stripping down of Alan Wake *then* making it 360 exclusive for two years. Yes, it's a good game, that doesn't excuse their actions and treatment of PC gamers. Now they're doing it again; another good looking game, Yankbox One exclusive.
Burning PC gamers twice because they're spineless sellout dickholsters for Microsoft.
Alan Wake is one of my fav games. Feels more lile Max Payne than Max payne3 did. it had that Remedy feel to it.
I am pretty sure that quantum game will come to pc sooner or later too

I think it's more microsoft funding the project rather than remedy going out at it by themselves.
I know. But you gotta admit, remedy isn't as big as rockstar even tho their games are 10x better. They just aren't as popular, so they don't have many windows open for them. Which really sucks. If they were as popular as rockstar, they wouldn't need ms money.
I'm just tired of exclusive deals that don't benefit anyone except the publisher - and I especially don't like developers that repeatedly treat other platforms like junk at the behest of a publisher.
Sure, it'll probably be a good game. Too bad it's the only interesting exclusive shown for the new xbox (ONE - maybe that's why it's called that way ). Well, excluding Forza, but I'm really not into racing games.
"Time is the fire in which we burn," is a line from a poem by Delmore Schwartz that perfectly captures the essence of #QuantumBreak.
Really excited! Quantum Break is Remedy’s next big thing, bigger and more ambitious than anything we’ve ever created. #XboxReveal
Remedy’s next big game won’t be Alan Wake 2. We’ll return to Wake when the time is right. More on this tomorrow.
We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from #alanwake and #maxpayne, and created the ultimate Remedy experience: #QuantumBreak.

Update: Here's the official description of the game from a press release. The release also contained this line: "Format: Exclusive to Blu-ray for the Xbox One video game and entertainment system." That sure sounds it won't be downloadable episodes like I previously speculated. Guess I owe somebody some money.
Quote:
Developed exclusively for Xbox One, Quantum Break blurs the line between television and gameplay, integrating the two into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience. From Remedy Entertainment, the critically-acclaimed creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne comes a revolutionary entertainment experience that weaves the cinematic action of intense gameplay with the tension and drama of scripted television, creating a world where each has a direct impact on the other.
In Quantum Break, our desperate hero fights a highly personal battle to save the future before time literally runs out. As time breaks down, impossible, split second moments of destruction turn into epic stages of time powered action. The actions you take, and the choices you make, shape your experience as the narrative unfolds. As you play, a personalized ‘director’s cut’ of the show is created just for you, based on the decisions you make during the game.
Quantum Break will lead the new generation of interactive entertainment, as the show and game deliver a holistic entertainment experience made possible only on Xbox One.

Yea , but its not going to be the game world I mean. Like you stop playing then watch a full screen live action sequence. I love the little videos / shows you find in the game world , but not sure about some wing commander III type thing. Anyway it is Remedy so I should have faith it wlll be cool

It's a fantastic approach IMO. It depends on the transitions, I'm thinking you have a direct effect on how the live action scenes are played out and or clues to a particular problem within the game universe. But we'll see at E3.
wow, talking about fan service. Might even buy the humble bundle just to support them even though I played all the alan wake content already. We need more developers like this...
And concerning the live action "cut scenes". Why not? I loved those back in the day And I also loved the TV content in wake. I'm sure they'll find a good way to merge the gameplay with the videos, that doesn't pull you out of the experience
