I've bean trying to find more on the devs and game, and only thing that I learned from their site is that they're Australian and even that isn't just thrown out there.
Why is everything gaming related coming from down there always so shady? Those scam artists with that voxel game engine, complete fiasco from LA Noire devs, and now these guys are late on EA dates with no explanation whatsoever. They're blocking early access youtube vids, prancing around with big sim words and showing nothing. That's atrocious marketing from them. It gives me zero confidence in their product.
But no big deal, there are other options around the corner.
Yeah, the trailer is really well done, but definitely remains to be seen whether it's just a deceiving elaborate ruse, or an actual surprising showcase of real quality contents. Anyways, I'm curious regardless.

In the eventuality this one turns into a flop, there's also Kart Racing Pro which is supposedly coming to steam this month (and should be sim-ish as far as I know). Game Stock Car also had good karting physics, haven't tried the new release (Automobilista) yet though.
Aye, game stock car was pretty nice. Been wanting to give Automobilista a try but haven't got to it yet. It's on that list of isodemo's that never shrinks down
