If it´s the same game as it was on xbox, then it´s the greatest crap ever.

A bevy of technical problems make portions of the game feel sloppy and unfinished, such that even diehard fans of the series will have a hard time liking Driver 3. - Jeff Gerstmann (GAMESPOT).

In a broader context, compared to those other games in the "genre," DRIV3R easily takes last place, thanks to a narrow vision and static game design -- on foot or in a car -- that just doesn't excite me the same way it did in 1999. - Douglass C. Perry (IGN).

And there's so many like these.
I hope the PC won't be as shitty thou.

EDIT:
I'm still waiting for Brother In Arms. Come to papa! Come!

okay, the greatest problem in this game was that you don´t only have missions with your car, you also have a lot to do by foot, and that´s the problem, aiming and conrols when you are not in your car are terrible. Also the conrol of your car is not really good. Sorry for my crappy english Smile

ok, but if we are really lucky (unlikely but Still), those technical problems probably will have been worked out, as well as the control problems, since we all know that control on a pc is always better than on a console (almost)

This game is quite enyoable. Its a really bad game, but ist still extremely cool to cruise the cities with your motorcycle and you Diablo Razz. But people on 0.5mbit (like me) and who have already played this on another console, this is a waste of bandwidth.

I was palaying this a lot on my PS2.
The bigges issue was the crappy feel of the 'on foot' part of the game, but i guess it was due to limited pad capability, i guess with a PC Mouse+keys it's gonna be a way more enjoyable.
The game was also quite bugged, but i hope this has been sorted out for pc release.
Apart from that - great game, the driving part was excellent!

Look at the date : 8/1/2004, that means August 2004 and that means that the review is NOT of the pc version.

Warren Spector : I never minded piracy. Anyone who minds about piracy is full of shit. Anyone who pirates your game wasn’t going to buy it anyway!

Hideo Kojima: If you want to simply tell a story, you can create a film or write a novel.

I've heard so much crap about both the PS2 and XBOX version that I aint even gonna look at it. I'm totally ignoring this for now. Even if it has better graphics I doubt they've fixed the gameplay problems.
