MOBILE!? Whoa.. Shocked That's impressive.. and wahey for an remastered version coming to PC too, that's more reason to replay and I wonder if existing Steam owners of Fahrenheit get a discout? Very Happy I'm still holding onto hope for other remasters to come to PC as well.

Why not? This game ran on PS2 without problems. Should be no problem on anything Iphone5 or above. Game would not even look good for a mobile game, at least the old version. About the remake: Dunno.

And unless they also remaster the clusterfuck storytelling in the last third of the game, I have no interest.

There are screenshots on the Amazon page if you want to see what the game looks like with the "HD textures". Not much of an improvement really.

Time matches up with the countdown on the teaser site too Smile

@bringiton

Because I'm consistently impressed with recent mobile ports and how fast mobiles are progressing. GTA 3/VC/SA, SW KoTOR, even recent titles like XCOM Enemy Unknown.

As for remastering the story? I hope they don't. I seem to be the only one that really enjoyed *all* parts of the game, including the powers and the late-game revelations. It was fantastical and fun Smile

Not that I mind having a remastered Fahrenheit (I don't... even in the slightest Very Happy), but I would've much more liked an announcement of a PC version of Heavy Rain. And of Beyond: Two Souls. And of their upcoming AAA project. Very Happy

But that would do too. It would nicely tickle my somewhat dormant soft spot for games of the interactive-movie genre. Very Happy

Yeah. But for 10 bucks and with controller support (the original PC controls were awkward) I can't complain. I'd buy the original version for 10 had it been available on Steam, let alone an improved version. Razz

I'd fangasm all over the place if we got Heavy Rain and BEYOND. I wouldn't care if they were the same games just running at 1080p60, I'd be happy.

Uncut version of the game ? Unlike the original North American release, Remastered contains all of the game's original scenes, uncensored and uncut.

That is good...was afraid it was going to be the censored version.
Might be time to replay this,it is a good game and I remember liking it a lot. Smile

No, it really doesn't. Ya'll just being silly now Razz

@bloodian

Yes, UE4 looks incredible but let's be fair.. it's built specifically for certain devices and takes every ounce of power they have. I'm more impressed when they port larger titles from older systems to be honest Smile Getting Xbox/PS2 games running on an iPad is impressive to me Smile

It says it includes the original version's graphics anyway should you prefer those.

I honestly think more remasters should offer that, being able to toggle on the fly to really get a glimpse at the changes? Nice Smile Either way, as consolitis said, it comes with the original option so you could always use that or the "HD" mod someone did a while back grinhurt

@sabin1981

The best 'remastered' version IMO was monkey island. Toggling between the new and old was awesome.
