.wmv is a format of windows media video. Try to install the newest windows media player and codec pack for it.
And if you use ffdshow try to disable it.

Are you sure you don't have a corrupt image?
If reinstalling doesn't work, you might want to redownload the game.

Try method of same rippers, delete this file. If game will report that the file is missing try to make a empty file in notepad and name it exactly like that file, or just name any .wmv file which you have (and which is playable) and overwrite it.

I really still dont know what the problem was. But I remembered that it could be something about the cd's so i copied both cd's to the same dir on my hard disk and it works!
