so does still work? i got my paying method rejected in argentina and korean store while using vpn on pc to pay for a game.

not worked for over a month now.....i just buy prepaid gift cards from either prepaidgamer for south african credit...or offgamers for the others depending on what games are cheaper in the different countries.

Offgamers.com and i use prepaidgamer.com just for south africa cards.....both reliable and instant codes.
I also use digitalgameprices.com to check which regions have the lowest prices.
Never found a site for argentinian cards though.
I sometimes use the MSstore for russian cards..but its a pain to do.

You can just change your location at the bottom of the webpage to US and then the store should start displaying all of the XB1 games available with $ prices. Normally you can't just buy the games in $ because you need a US credit card (although. I've seen a few threads with possible workarounds for this), but it might allow you to download the free games. You will then probably need to set your XB1 to US location as well when you buy it before you download the games onto your hard-drive, but don't worry, you can change back afterwards.

No need to change your XBOX region to download the game.
That's also why buying Dark Souls 3 JAP allowed you to download the EUR/US version back then.
