Drew Goddard (Cloverfield, The Cabin in the Woods, The Martian, Deadpool 2 rewrites/consultant) was announced to write and direct X-Force for Fox.
Ryan Reynolds (who is also one of the film's producers) and Josh Brolin are expected to reprise their roles as Deadpool and Cable, from Deadpool 2.
Goddard is currently busy with his upcoming film El Royale, but Deadline says he has already cracked the X-Force script, and will work on the film the moment he finishes with El Royale.
