I understand you mate. You talk or ask things of people, then only you realize that they are way worse off than yourself, and you think about your petty shits and feel like an ass.
But you couldn't know, and you shouldn't feel bad. I'm sure everybody at work knew your were out of the loop, and that you're not a cold-hearted man.
