Quote: | I'm sure many retro gamers will remember Thrust, which was first published by Firebird Software Ltd and released in 1986. It also originally came on a multitude of systems including the Atari 2600, Amstrad CPC, Atari 8-bit, Atari ST, BBC Micro, Commodore 16, Plus/4, Commodore 64, Electron, Vectrex, and ZX Spectrum. In fact it was such a popular game, over the years we've had many remakes and ports and this time in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Jeremy Smith's Thrust, Hayes Maker Games with music by legendary C64 composer Matt Gray has made available his version that is playable on PC / Mac or any other HTML5 enabled device! |
Systems : Browser, Android, iOS(Soon?)

Gremlin, Imagine, Hewson, Ocean, TopoSoft, Dinamic... |
Imagine... Until they were bought out by Ocean, they were quite good - but then I'll never forgive them for their abysmal conversion of Yie Ar Kung Fu for the C64... it SHOULD have been superb - but half the moves didn't actually work. And there was no Feedle!
Hyper Sports and Green Beret were excellent however Oh the golden days of computer gaming...

Oh, you're completely right! I have Imagine in high regard because Arkanoid, Renegade and Target: Renegade (under Ocean). Did you play any Hewson Consultants game? I was a BIG fan of Zynaps, Exolon and Cybernoid 1 & 2

You know, I think I played almost every game on the C64 that was possible. And yet I missed these classics. I offer no excuse as to why
