Bellwright is an open-world medieval action strategy game developed by Donkey Crew. Players will set out to establish and grow settlements, recruit others to the cause, and liberate the lands. Overcome environmental challenges, fend off threats, and manage the well-being of citizens in a dynamic and ever-changing world. Bellwright is set to launch into Steam Early Access in December 2023 for PC.
it's been relatively good. has a little more content than you'd expect from the devs of last oasis and has a reasonably good gameloop where you're improving your village, recruiting people, grinding resources, fighting bandits and raids, directional combat.
it's a lot like medieval dynasty but doesn't suffer from npcs being completely vacant (and gameplay being quite so dry).
still needs a lot of work but it's worth playing it's also in dire need of some balance with npc pathing and ranged weapons because apparently my friends just can't stop abusing bugs instead of learning how to fight
