I'm still hoping for MechCommander 3, now that Jordan Weisman/FASA has reacquired the rights (so far only to Mech Warrior, Crimson Skies and also Shadowrun).
Still, even if we don't get MC3 .... SHADOWRUN! A properly made Shadowrun would be orgasmic!

Whoa, I'd forgot all about that game - don't remember much about it actually, except that I enjoyed it. The latest Mech Warriors didn't do much for me, stuck in a bit of a nineties rut I guess, but an up-to-date version with all the modern sensibilities? Sign me up.

wow some people really took offense to this, lol. I actually believed it at first but because theres so much room for mistakes if they decided to make a new one it would have to be perfect...and it probably wouldnt and would just disappoint me, more than an april fools joke.
If they made one where you could get in/out of your mech that would be sweet though. There was an old game like that but i can't remember its name...it was all made up of grids and stuff...

Battletech sounds familiar, I think your right. I just remember it was a really old demo i had from a floppy disk, and it was like a fps but everything was like a black and green grid.
