Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Coronado Games announce that their spaceship-building game Starship Corporation is releasing out of Steam’s Early Access Program on May 3, 2018.
Having spent 2 years in Early Access Starship Corporation has seen massive improvements. The game has been shaped extensively with help from the community, from their feedback and constructive criticism, for which the Developer has expressed their gratitude. During Early Access, cybernetic organisms were introduced, as were mining and military features. The galaxy map was also redesigned to its current state.
A trailer emphasizing the updated graphics as well as the full feature set can be seen bove.
Starship Corporation's launch update will add a campaign mode with 99 different business contracts and two different endings based the player’s business relationships, as well as a ship database and two new rooms. Additionally, Russian language support will be added at launch, as well as improved loading/saving times, Steam achievements, and bug and performance fixes.

Hi guys,
just found this little gem. It looks quite interesting to me...
It's sort of 0x10c from isometric perspective (no it isn't, just kidding).
"There will be no end to the troubles of humanity, until philosophers become kings, or kings become philosophers.", Plato.
"Hyperbole will destroy us all.", Matt Dillahunty.
"The hyperbole, the demonization of the other opinion and the unwillingness to even read the opposing opinion destroys the so important political discussions necessary for the well functioning of society.", Couleur

God damn that sounds good! I will most certainly be keeping my eye on this I really hope that combat stuff is also available offline, it would be a shame if the only offline/SP component is the ship construction.. as is indicated by the website. That really would be one hell of a waste
Level 3 has just been reached!
Starship Corporation will now get all those elements that I love about games:
- a detailed and challenging sandbox mode
- a persistent online universe, where the players create the world. “Game experience my change during online play” – I love that phrase!
- AND a story/character driven campaign that will supply a thrilling “WHY?” to all the players, who already mastered the “HOW?”.
Thank you all so much for giving me the opportunity to create all that.
Fully funded I still haven't read any confirmation on whether or not the "Colonies/Trade/Conquer" stuff is available offline as well as online.
Might just be from a common audio library, shared resources like that were pretty coomon but what do I know.
(There's this really annoying cheap scream effect used in tons of cheaper horror movies and many games to take one example.)
(Whuu whaao whuu whaa - or something like that, I can't describe it.)

Tried it a bit. Basically tetris with starship modules and rooms. Would be enjoyable, but what really kills my boner is the ridiculous start-up time. At least they are honest about it.
I can go to take a leisurely leak and still only be half-way done booting the game by the time I sit down again.
