CBS announced that they’ve ordered a pilot for S.W.A.T., a reboot of the 1975 series of the same name which Justin Lin will executive produce along with The Shield creator Shawn Ryan.
This upcoming reboot has been ordered with a series penalty, meaning CBS will have to pay up if they choose not to air it.

No confirmation of an actual TV series yet; if the pilot doesn't crash I'll check this out granted it gets a proper budget.
