Well we don't ask you!

It'll be nice to see what the final is like.

From the screenshots it looks nice, like Diablo just in 3D. I'll be watching this game, there wasn't any good RPG for a long time.

The demo was released 4-5 months ago just to get the publisher off thier backs and is no example of the finished product. The story was written by that really famous guy (cant remember his name) and looks to be a decent rpg.

5 weeks ago you mean (March 25). You're kidding yourself if you think the final game will be any different from the demo in terms of gameplay--or lack thereof.

Well this has just been sent off to retail stores in North America, to me the Coop MP will make for a interesting game in my opinion. I Didn't have too much to complain about with the demo except poor animations and poor MP function and low res which from what I hear are fixed in the retail.

Will haft to wait for a release and see if its worth buying. Not sure what protection it uses, lets hope not stupid starfork

I have experience in game development and you can be sure it can't be REALLY different in 5weeks... it needed more time

D.W Bradley also has some experience in game development, 10 games is under his belt, i trust this one will be good as well, and blame the publisher for rushing a demo out.

The demo was a piece of garbage but I heard the demo was already quite old when in got released and it does not represent the final game. Also, it's said they changed a lot due to the mainly bad feedback from this demo. Anyway, D.W.Bradley drifted away so far from the very successful Wizardry series with the last couple of games he released so that I'm not going to buy this one. This will fit pretty well in the mentioned "hack n slash dungeon crawl"-category and is definitely not a "deeper RPG".... Sad

Yeah big hint: Diablo isn't a roleplaying game. Just because you tack a story onto a system that lets you 'build' your character via a point system doesn't make it a roleplaying game.
Roleplaying games Are not based on statistical character progression. Never have been, regardless of what video game makers want to try and feed you.
They're action adventure games plain and simple.
Yes many popular roleplaying games contain systems for statistically developing your character, but that isn't what makes it a roleplaying game. However there are others that do not.

An RV isn't a sports car because it has doors just like a corvette.

In answer to your question - name one game where the game play has significantly increased from demo to final. I've played a lot of games, and I can't think of one.

For one thing the demo is released to hopefully entice people to buy the final product – not a good idea to release a pile of crap demo then is it?

I haven’t played the demo – but from what I’ve heard – I’ll put me left testie on the fact that the game is crappy.
