Some games are not working for me of the hdd.
They are;
Burnout 3
PES4
Worms 3D
Ghost Recon 2
And those that work are;
ESPN NFL 2005
NFL Street 2
Pinball (something)


These games worked before me and I tried re sending the games to the HDD but they failed. I receantly sent ESPN NFL 2005 and that one works.

Any tips?

I had the same problems, did u upgrade you hdd and copied ur files from your old xbox hdd to your new hdd? If so, thats whats messing up the games. you have to go in to the e partition and delete all the files in the "CACHE" folder (leave the folder empty). some games bugger up if thier filenames with extensions are longer than 48 chars when being transfered to HD. If you have an xecuter 3 chip fitted with latest bios the files automatically get renamed so they are shorter .

They worked before though for me. Guess I will make a clean update, format the drives, re flash the modchip (x-b.i.t.) with m8plus.

If it's a different tv, the tv may not support PAL. Some xISO tools are buggered and will give you incomplete extractions. Make sure your utp cable is in good condition.

Hello. I too had many problems getting certain games to work off my HDD. Then, i discovered an app called dvd2xbox. It lets you copy the dvd from the xbox dvd drive, instead of having to ftp from your pc. It also checks the default.xbe of the game you are copying, and patches it accordingly. Since using this app, I have no more problems and ALL of my games work. This app is also very usefull to delete cache files which your average ftp program cannot see.

btw, all the games you mentioned that don't work on your HDD, work on mine.

dvd2xbox v0.6.4 was just released. They fixed a few things, you guys should get it. Very Happy

Found it out! it was that I had parental lock "allow all"
Turned it off and it works now
