Kinda, you should definitly try Darwinia and the Laser Squad Nemesis would have been good if it wasnt for the horendous loading inbetween each move, just unbearable. But ya this one sucks. Dont look at me, I just made the template.

odd game.....

its a turn based game.. yet all the action is in 3D...

Maybe if it was based on a more epic kinda war..... but the american civil war bores me... u only have like.. 5 types of units in this game

- Infantry
- Millitia
- Calvary
- Cannons
- General

And thats it....

I guess if you like the american civil war etc.. and your into that type of shit u will love this game..

What'd you expect? I actually like the 3D this time. I hate how alot of the strategy war games, especially older wars such as civil war are usually done in 2D. Atleast this time it looks good. Plus, you dont need all those units, and branches for a good game. And BTW... you kidding? The civil war was epic. It was more dramatic itself than people are thinking with old weaponry, and taking a few to reload your gun after every shot. I usually hate strategy games with loads of units because it than usually turns out where theres overpowered units, and weapons, that pretty much throw away other tactical units, and no need for them. Ground Control II: Operation Exodus anybody?
