I can see why people are sceptic about this release, given the fact that the HOODLUM name was used in some fake releases, plus the fact that new protections are harder to crack these days...

why release a cracked version? the clone has been out for ages now.
Working version is working version if you people are to stupid to use it that's your problem.

i wouldnt exactly say that clone has been out for ages as it came out only a few days ago. This crack allows people to play without the cd in the drive which is pretty useful.

Why not release a crack? 99% of people use the cracked versions anyway. I for 1 didnt download the clone even though i wanted to play this game.

To be honest clone games are allowed on much fewer sites then cracked version of the same game so in most cases you won't see the clone version at all unless you have alot of sites and that would be my reasoning behind having both.

To be honest if your complaining about the multiple uploads of games then you must really be erked by the movie scene. Plus another issue with the clone scene is that in many of the cases that special equipment is required which almost every area of the scene disalows. External drives for the most part atleast in my view are special equipment and special software to turn off internal drives kind of defeats the purpose of having a 1 to 1 clone image of a game by its logical design to beat the protection.

That combined with the fact that most software used to burn 1 to 1 images of cloned games do not work properly on U. S. computers due to copy protection and our laws that stop you from doing so. For example Alcohol 120 that turns off features of the program when run on U. S. computers.

Just my opinion though and not flaming anyone.

not big from a bandwidth point of view but it is still rather large for a game. A majority of games are 2-3 cds now days so 5 I would say is above the average. Just wondered why the devs chose to release on cd and not dvd as mnay people now days have dvd roms.

Dont want to really get on to the cd dvd debate again on here, just thought 5cds was a rather large release for a game. I would have thought devs would have gone for dvd to be honest.

No probs here as people can burn the images to 1 dvd, was just passing comment Razz

Well if the game has more than 3 cd's...it deserve to be on DVD in my opinion.
