Cycling Manager 3 (StarForce3) images are succesfully emulated without any CD device in system except alcohol virtual cd

you must unplug power supply from your cd, disabling secondary controlller in bios don't help

You need to un-plug all the IDE devices because starforce 3 will ask you to put the cd in a IDE device, if there is any IDE dev., nad the virtual drive is an SCSI device.

the way to outwit StarForce 3

And it works fine, and now... say God to me =D

That only works for the early versions of SF not for the newer ones!

Please, not another SF3 discussion. If you want a SF3 protected game, then go buy it!

God, not another discusstion. We already talked about every possiable thing in SF3, and we already said what can be said.
Let's forget about this protection and hope we won't need to worry about it

Instead of manually unplugging your IDE devices, just connect your CD/DVD power cables to a $0.10 toggle switch and run it out the back of your case. Switch power off when you want to play SF3 game, switch power back on when finished... Laughing

There are already SF3-games out, so your statement is incorrect. However, newer versions of SF3 take a lot longer time to break, and since the developers of SF3 work actively against the crackers - I believe we'll have to wait until an all-time working cracking-method will work. So for now, getting SF3-protected games fast means buying (ie. preordering) them.

Its true, though most of the SF3 games arent even worth the money. Doom III probably wont have more than a serial if that. Carmack doesnt like protection, and why would he. The system should be based on quality products. I can name a whole lot of people who will be buying Doom III as well as Half Life 2 just because they know it will be of quality.

The funny thing will be, when the publishers realises, that they don't sell shit of those shitty games, even WITH their genial Starforce protected games. Seriously: who the f*ck spends actually money for some newerheardofit Cycling Manager game. IF this is actually good, than your pal, or somebody migth buy it, but if nobody hears from it, because it's unplayed warez-wise, then nobody will buy this POS.

Fairlight and Immersion could do it also...but verry sad that they are gone!
why must they always bust the best groups!? , i rather had that they busted Deviance. then we would still have groups with master Haxor skilz.
(FLT and Immersion) , however i think they will come back but the question is when..

their members are still alive & well.. there were maybe like what, 2 guys that got busted? they just gave up cause they got tired of the busts every year (funny enough same month every year too, silly american operations)
