Yes, I am retarded Laughing

Saturday I had a bit too much to drink, managed to land on my foot awkwardly and in my drunkenly stupor I carried on partying. Realized the following day that it's sprained. Didn't think much of it, not the first time it happened and it wasn't too severe. My co-tenants declared me braindead and drove me to A&E; tldr. tendon managed to pull off a piece of bone, 1 week till I can start putting some weight on it, and approx 6 weeks for it to heal completely. What do? Grab uber to work Laughing, as fuck living on 60 pounds a week of statuatory sick pay during christmas month. Legaly I wasn't prohibited from working as I wasn't at my GP for a note. I get a nice office chair and take my post. Feeling quite good for 2 days then on the 3rd day I wake up with a headache, stomach ache and a fucking mouth ulcer - shit's worse than breaking an ankle. I go to work, and mere 4 hours in I'm fucking exhausted and doing my best not to pass out, and finally get persuaded by my team leader to get the week off, as I clocked about 80 hours of yet unpaid overtime.

Welp, looks like I'm not actually immortal, and right now have no immune system to speak of Sad

It's an annoying injury alright, slow and tiring, and there isn't much that one can do sadly, only a big bag of patience is required Razz Sad

I've broken my ankles three times during my short football 'career', it was my body's way to tell me to stop doing that, and boy it worked. Then I embraced tennis only to see a hernia pop up after a couple of years (which I'm still pretending that it doesn't exist). We really need the Adamantium skeleton overhaul technology to become reality before it's too late xD

Oh yeah. And once you assemble a team like that their slogan could be 'we didn't ask for this'

Very Happy damn right!
More realistically, we could use cheap exoskeletons instead like Boblefotball, but the ankles would still be left uncovered. No wonder Achille hated them Sad
