Haven't found a crack yet but then again I haven't bothered looking other than a cursory glance. It IS out and about though. I don't have a DX11 card so I didn't bother downloading it.
One thing I am interested in finding out more about though is
Quote:
The introduction of a new Professional Plus version of Prepar3D for military training
In addition to the academic and professional licenses of Prepar3D, a new Professional Plus license has been released to support military training. Professional Plus brings an extensible military weapons training capability, as well as Learning Management System interfaces.
A fully-configurable, dynamic weapons system has been added to Prepar3D to allow our military-focused customers the ability to perform weapons-based training using Prepar3D. Support for targeting, bombs, missiles, guns, and countermeasures are included, as are examples to show you how to implement features in your training.
Not many videos out yet. This is just a quickie of the volumetric fog and dynamic shadows.
Can't really tell for now.
But, sure thing FSX, FSX:SE should be thrown away for good now.
DCS isn't playing in the same league (more a combat flight sim)
Prepar3d v4 finally bring 64bits to the Flight simulator we know and should put an end to these damn OOM crash when the game is modded to the bones with excellent but huge addons.
And much more stuff : http://www.prepar3d.com/news/2017/05/114192/
Yet, X Plane 11 looks like a very nice enhancement over XP10 as well.
Also there is the new Flight sim world that is just a joke for now, but looks promising, even if it will certainly be a milk cash machine like other Dovetail games.
Really hard to tell for now which one is the one to go with.
But at least things are moving again in the flight sim games and the near future (once optimizations and addons get released) looks interesting.
