I am going to have a hernia repaired tomorrow, that's why I have been a little grumby the last couple of days. I had had another one repaired about 5 years ago. Fucking shits are messing with my exercise and my microgains. I was getting swole, too.

You have about 12 hours to pray for my well-being or tragic death, go!

I have done a laparascopic surgery on both inguinal hernias. It lasted half an hour and the third day I was sent home. Fortunately I catched it on time while the bulges were small. Now there are two mesh patches on both sides and it is holding better than the California's Lake Oroville dam. Very Happy

My first one was a full aneasthesia, "Imma cut you" surgery. I left the hospital the following day.

3 days is a long time to keep you for a hernia repair I think.

I had an inguinal hernia repaired too, was sent home the next day. one of the wounds did get infected but I lived Smile

I had mine done laprascopically as well, i did leave it a few months before having it done was a risk of a strangulated hernia.

Best of luck VGA, hopefully everything went well and you didn't end up being disemboweled by a voodoo witch doctor. And enjoy the anesthesia while it lasts!

I've got a hernia too, but it's a complicated discal one and repairing it is a risky procedure. The doctor's wise response was the iconic 'deal with it' Crying or Very sad Laughing

That's something I was always terrified of ! Strange smelly gas and that nausea after the procedure. Fortunately, the nausea doesn't last long. Also, until you return your full consciousness, you tend to babble stuff or nonsense. I proposed a nurse for marriage. Of course, I don't remember anything. Very Happy

Hahah, sounds like a good wild ride to me xD. I wonder if our VGA has proposed to anyone by pulling off the trademark helicopter dick courtship dance mating move ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I am back home, men. I had forgotten how much this shit hurts, ffffuuuck.

Even worse, their wifi sucked and nfohump was blocked by their Safebrowsing something. Seriously? Surprised

The thing that helped me through was that I kept thinking about some people with cancer that I follow online. I imagined them telling me "are you fucking serious, dude? It's just a hernia repair"
