winner of the best gfx award. followed the hilarious thread on neogaf. they posted 'impressive' videos where the models looked to be floating on the ground while fighting. lol.
it's a shit game. but looks purdy. will only be remembered because of how good it looks. everything else is typical crytek quality.

First time I saw footage of this I was really impressed by the graphics. But then I saw the combat, and it's basically quick time event after quick time event, with the finishing moves. I think it will get old reaaal fast.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

The Eurogamer article does say that plans for Ryse 2 fell apart because Crytek refused to give Microsoft the license so I wonder if they would have ported it to PC at all.
