Drawn by hand, pixel by pixel, Huntdown´s design is thoroughly made like a 16-bit game from the old days, but with a fluid action-packed 60-FPS gameplay.
I'm usually not one for pixel games, but this looks slick as hell.
Shame there's only Local Co-Op listed in the features, this looks like it'd be fun to play with a friend.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Quite impressed with how good the game looks and plays. I cleared the first zone and had a lot of fun. Sure it is on Epic, but at least with their 10€ coupon I got the game for half the price.
Been playing it (On the 2nd "area") and you end up forgetting to use the Dash function or even hide inside holes. Bosses sometimes can be a bit annoying or the "push back" effect when ya get shotted or hitted.
Still enjoying it some but there's V-Sync and no way to turn it off...Good thing it accepts a PS4 pad without the need of DSWindows ! (Even PS mapping UI)

@paxsali: I had the same issue with my PS4 pad with DSWindows... Solution?.. Close DSWindows !
The game detects , in my case, the PS4 pad and shows PS prompts (O X...) and even rumbles without the need of third party stuff. GOG latest version. Surprising but damn well received support!
When using DSWindows it'd even show the Xbox prompts and then your issue would pop up.. Yep, big smoking. Make sure to not use emulators unless you're using a X1 XSX pad.. If it's the latter case... Dunno what to say. Go to the STEAM page of the game, discussions and drop ya issue there. Make sure to drop ya PC specs and version as they'll ask ya

Finished the game. Not sure how long but damn, the game can be tedious..
GOOD:
-Music!.. Kinda like the Megadrive!
-Pixel art is pretty nice (And some looks like Robocop from the Megadrive.. Or better..)
-The dash (Wich i think it doesn't tells ya in the tutorial you can drop down from ledges by holding Down + R2 to insta-dash down without the ned to press jump first...Among dodging bullets?)
-Jokes and script references
-Voices are good too but...
CONS:
-...Some swearings could've been completed out without being cutted like "Yippee kai yay mother---" and there it ends. C'mon, it's a game with blood and violence. Put some efforts on it!
-You need to completely stop firing to take cover in holes. If you shoot and suddenly hold Up it takes a few frames for the fire animation to stop so it goes into the hole.
-Some latter bosses can be REALLY annoying and unpredictable, others can be long and boring. Thank god some of em, specially the last one, has some "checkpoints" so that the battles ain't long and DARK SOULS like
-You might go crazy and focusing on shooting more than dodging with the Dash function or take cover.. You'll die a lot
-Some collectibles are hard to find and some of em are carried over by an enemy running away from you. Once gone you can repeat the level if ya want the perfection status on that level (Briefcases, 100% enemy deaths, do not die. Good luck on the latter)
